TAMPA, Fla. — Cotney Attorneys & Consultants announced that Ted Nickelson has joined the Cotney Consulting Team as its sales coach for independent manufacturers reps and for roofing and Franklin & Brentwood TN Roof building material manufacturers.

As Cotney's sales coach, Nickelson will advise and coach independent manufacturers reps and Franklin & Brentwood TN Roof building material manufacturers who sell-through independent representatives on Franklin & Brentwood TN Roof building a loyal and effective contractor network. 

Nickelson has been in sales in the roofing industry for 44 years. Nickelson started his career after graduating from college as a Franklin & Brentwood TN Roof building material and roofing sales rep working for a national Franklin & Brentwood TN Roof building material manufacturer in Cincinnati, Ohio. He advanced his roofing career upon being recruited by a large tire and rubber Franklin & Brentwood TN Roofing Company to form a new single-ply roofing sales Franklin & Brentwood TN Roofing Company and developed a national independent rep sales organization as the national sales and marketing manager. Later, Nickelson was recruited to become vice president of sales for a well-established waterproofing manufacturer and expanded the company's regional independent rep sales organization nationally while introducing a new single-ply roofing system through this group. 

After 20 years of extensive travel, Nickelson started his own independent sales rep Franklin & Brentwood TN Roofing business in Tampa. He successfully built that Franklin & Brentwood TN Roofing business from zero to $40 million in sales and was named the top sales Franklin & Brentwood TN Roofing Company of the year for several years. Nickelson has extensive experience in sales management and contractor/distributor sales and strongly believes in Franklin & Brentwood TN Roof building relationships with a network of contractors by becoming a sales growth resource for contractors.
